CUPERTINO, Calif. – September 7, 2005, – BroadWare Technologies, Inc., the leader in distributed video surveillance, has experienced record growth during 2005 and is moving into a larger headquarters building in the city of Santa Clara, near the center of California’s Silicon Valley region. The new facility was selected to enable BroadWare to expand its services to commercial and defense organizations as well as federal, state and local government agencies requiring the most flexible, scalable and advanced server-based technologies for management, distribution and storage of video surveillance data in a network environment.

The new building is located at 3333 Octavius Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054, less than five minutes from the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport along California Highway 101. BroadWare also operates an East Coast federal sales and support facility at 2325 Dulles Corner Boulevard, Herndon, VA less than a mile from Washington Dulles International Airport.

“BroadWare’s rapid growth and the expansion of our core markets have made it possible and necessary for us to establish a larger West Coast facility to increase the size of our R&D and customer support teams as well as our marketing and sales organizations,” said Bill Stuntz, CEO of BroadWare. “We have always striven to deliver superior products and engineering support to our integration partners and end-user customers, and this new physical plant will enable us to continue to meet those commitments.”

BroadWare solutions are being widely used by the military, federal, state and local governments, and transportation and commercial applications. Customers who have used BroadWare technology include the US military, government agencies, airports, seaports, and commercial customers. BroadWare’s integration partners include Boeing, Cubic, General Dynamics, IBM, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and other global technology leaders described at www.broadware.com/Partners/integration.jsp.

BroadWare’s flagship product, the BroadWare Media Platform, is a suite of server-based technologies for management, distribution and storage of video surveillance data in a network environment. This combination of commercial off the shelf (COTS) components is built on an open architecture platform that allows systems integrators to easily integrate their choice of third-party technologies such as cameras, encoders, sensor technology, biometrics and video analytics, while designing systems that evolve and scale as new technologies are introduced.
